This is a big game for the Tigers. There are a ton of questions surrounding the game. Did Carl Lawson really make the trip (it seems that he did), and will he play if he did (I personally doubt it, but I can hope)? Who is going to start? Rumors seem to be leading towards Jeremy Johnson. If that's the case, then I hope he comes out looking like the JJ of old and has one of the greatest turnarounds of any QB in college football history.
This will be the first time UK has even played in a Thursday night game since 2013, and the first primetime Thursday game UK has hosted in Commonwealth Stadium. Needless to say, this is a great opportunity for the Cats and Mark Stoops to showcase themselves in front of maybe the biggest audience they'll have this season.
The Cats are also in the thick of the SEC East race at 2-1 in conference play with a win over the two-time division champs in Missouri. The Tigers, meanwhile, have struggled during their 3-2 start, but both losses did come to No. 6 LSU and a Mississippi State team that's right outside the top 25.
Get ready, folks. It's almost time for Auburn football.
